Every Drive in my 911 is a celebration of sorts. When you throw in 29 more Porshces of many types and around 60 of my friends and fellow club members it is truly a CELEBRATION and a good time.
As part of our 15th Anniversary and Member Appreciation Celebration, Patricia and I led a drive down some scenic Central KY Roads. We passed through parts of Fayette, Scott, Franklin and Henry Counties on our way to the Steverson Estate on Old Lawrenceburg Rd in Frankfort.
Before the drive I let everyone know that we had the best navigator in PCA keeping me (us) from getting lost. This was the largest driving tour we have ever done so we split into two groups of 15 cars each. I led the first group and Patrick Myer led the 2nd group. Thanks for Neil Fisher and Tim McNeely for being the sweeps and helping getting us all to the party together.
We had a very good drivers meeting and the drive itself went very well. We did get into some light rain and wet roads but had no problems. By the time we got to the Steverson’s the weather had cleared and we all enjoyed the BBQ and the celebration.
We had a great celebration, good friends, good food and great cars. Our region started in 2003 with 40 members. As of August, 2018 we have 255 members. Wow!!!! Thank You! Ed and Tracy Steverson for your hospitality and hosting this event.
