Historian – Directors at Large

The Bluegrass PCA has four Director at Large board members.  In 2009, the club decided to add four Director at Large board members in addition to the four officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) and Past President.  The Director at Large board members will serve a two year term  and are “voting” board members.

In 2009, to transition to this system four Directors at Large were elected.  The top two nominees who received the most votes served a two year term and the remaining two nominees served a one year term.    This allows two returning and two new Director at Large board members for the current year.

In 2016,  Mike Wilson was confirmed as Secretary.  Therefore, Bill Larkin was nominated and approved for the vacant Director at Large position replacing Mike Wilson.

In 2016, David Hafley was unable to continue as a Director at Large,  Therefore John Schmidt was nominated and approved for the vacant Director at Large position replacing David Hafley.

In 2021, John Rice was was nominated and approved for the vacant Director at Large position replacing Rick Music (who was elected as Vice President for 2021).
