03/02/24 First Sat Cars & Coffee

Weather put a damper on the March 2 FSCC.  With temperatures in the mid 40’s, overcast skies, and some misty rain, we had a sparse attendance of 20 vehicles. Six of these hearty attendees were fellow Porsche drivers!  In addition to four boss trucks, we had a neat variety of cars including Corvette, Mustang, a really cool Cougar XR7 and a Chevelle with a major tricked out Corvette engine.  Both of those are really rare and great to see. We event had an Abarth.  You can view these and other cars on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/264105264537999/.  We also had no problems with disposing of the donuts and coffee!

The Keeneland Car Acquisition Committee continues to check out our attending vehicles for possible candidates for judging at this year’s concours event being held on July 20.  If you would like to nominate your vehicle for the event you can do so online at https://keenelandconcours.com/entrants/nominate-a-car/.

Thanks to our sponsors, Wildcat Moving and the Stockyards/Marketplace, for the hot coffee and fresh donuts in a warm meeting room!  Our next two FSCC events will be April 6 and May 4.  Come on out and play in the ‘Yard!
