November 4 was a great day for the FSCC monthly gathering at the Blue Grass Stockyards and Marketplace. The weather being in the upper 40 degrees and sunny brought out a very nice display of 150 vehicles. Of the 15 Porsches attending there was a neat mix of 356, 914, 930, GT3, GT4, Boxster, Macon and various 911’s. We even had one very impressive 911 Cabriolet equipped with 2 child seats including children! Now that’s raising children in true automotive style. Other distinctive sport marques included Acura, Audi, Austin Healey, Aston Martin, Corvette, Ferrari, Three Ford GT’s, Jaguar, Prowler, and Viper. In addition, we had numerous classics ranging from big fender Ford, Corvair, Ford Falcon, VW, and some great looking trucks! There was even a gorgeous motorcycle BMW equipped with a side car. A major attraction at the event was the display of a 1971 TVR Vixen, (one of 385 produced).
