You can tell folks are ready to get out and start enjoying car season! Our April 6 weather was only in the mid 40’s but that did not stop convertible folks from dropping their tops. We had a really fun mix of vehicles. As usual, Porsche with eight cars was the largest marque. We also had three very different models of Jaguar. It is always neat to see the precision, fit, and smooth operation of a Jaguar V12 engine. In addition, the late model Jag cabriolet looked really nice with the top down. In addition, there was a yellow Jeepster that is a very rare sight. Other attendees were Corvette, Ferrari, Mustang, Maverick, Dart, BMW, Pontiac, and more! It was a great opportunity for folks to swap car histories and learn about the various autos. We had several discussions regarding activities at the various car clubs. Members attending were from Corvette, Antique Auto, Model A, Porsche, Motor Heads, etc. It was a great opportunity for networking between the clubs.
As usual our sponsors provided the first 50 cups of coffee and donuts free at our gathering hall inside the Marketplace. Thank you to our sponsors: Blue Grass Stockyards/Marketplace, Wildcat Van Lines, and our newest sponsor, Crittenden Rawlings Clothing at Midway, Kentucky.
